ACT Alberta provides training and education on human trafficking to service providers and stakeholders. This training aims to equip attendees with the tools needed to accurately identify and appropriately respond to instances of human trafficking. Book your training below!

HT 101 Awareness Training

Basic information about human trafficking. Time: 60-90 minutes.

ACT Alberta will be hosting a free Lunch & Learn on the third Thursday of every month. Topics that will be covered can be found above, under HT101. Class sizes are limited to ensure that everyone has a chance to participate and ask questions. For the safety of participants and staff, classes will be hosted online via Zoom. 3 Hour Training

A more in depth look at human trafficking. Our 3 hour training will cover the following topics:

First Hour:

  • What is human trafficking
  • The nuances between human trafficking and human smuggling
  • The complexities of the crime

  • Barries to assisting victims of human trafficking
