What is the ACTion Allies Program?
ACTion Allies is a community-driven initiative from ACT Alberta that empowers local businesses to take a stand against human trafficking. By taking the ACTion Allies pledge, businesses commit to ethical practices and raising awareness about human trafficking in their communities.
Why Does it Matter?
Human trafficking is happening across our province, in urban and rural areas, and in a wide variety of industries. When businesses publicly commit to ethical practices, raising awareness, and supporting survivors, they send a clear message: our community stands for safety, dignity, and justice.
Getting Started
You’ll begin your ACTion Allies journey by filling out the pledge form. Once you’ve completed the form, download your ACTion Allies toolkit. The toolkit features information about the ACTion Allies program, your pledge poster and badge, educational resources on human trafficking, and materials to support you in collecting donations for ACT Alberta if you choose to.
Display your pledge with pride! We’d love to see your pledge materials in action. Share photos of your poster or badge on social media, tag us, and we’ll feature your business on our website and social channels!
