Victim Services and our Pathways to Safety program

ACT’s Victim Services team leads the Pathways to Safety (PTS) program. The PTS program supports the needs of victims and survivors of human trafficking by connecting them with an accredited social worker who provides specialized case management. Some of the help our clients receive includes:

Where We Work

ACT Alberta works province-wide, both in urban centres and in rural and Indigenous communities. While our team works out of ACT’s Calgary and Edmonton offices, we travel regularly and keep contact with clients and stakeholders over the phone and through video conferencing.

I didn’t know what to do or where to find help. One day, I passed out on the job from fatigue and hunger. The nurse attending me was suspicious about my situation, and she connected me with ACT Alberta.
